About Us
testingDaffodils High School was started in the year 2001 by Husna Banoo, Nawshaba Ahmed Barlaskar, Akhtari Ahmed. Retired teachers of Lady Brabourje College, Our Lady Queen of the Missions and Pratt Memorial School and Ejaz Rashid and Sajda Rashid Ex students of Don Bosco and Loreto.
The school was started to provide proper education to the weaker section of the society at a nominal fees of Rs.100/- p.m. In its inaugural year the school had 20 students in 2 classrooms.
The school is new supported by 2 NG0s Me Importas and Teach for India. Mr. Jorge Merino Tamayo the director of Me Importas of Spain visited more that 20 schools in Kolkata and chose Daffodils High School to sponser more than 60 students. The other NGO, Teach for India has provided the school with 18 trained teachers so far.

CCTV contantly monitored by The Principal
State of the Art Computer room with Wifi
48 Teaching and 9 Non teaching staff
850 + Happy students ( in 2 shifts)
All this at a nominal fee of Rs.500/600
